IncidentTrack Lubbock

Terms of use

IncidentTrack Lubbock is an independent, automated project. Using the site means you accept the points below.

Unofficial information

IncidentTrack is an independent, automated project and is not affiliated with the City of Lubbock, the Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock Fire Rescue or any government agency. Details come from live scanner audio and may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. In an emergency, call 911.

Reports are produced by software from live scanner audio. First radio reports are often wrong, addresses get corrected, units get reassigned, and a reported structure fire regularly turns out to be burnt food. Treat everything here as preliminary and unverified unless it is marked as checked by a person.

What the site is for

Personal awareness of public-safety radio activity in Lubbock: what the sirens were about, what is happening on your street, how the city's calls run over time. Do not use it to go to scenes, to interfere with emergency operations, or to identify, locate or contact anyone involved in a call. Nothing here is a substitute for calling 911 or for official information from the City of Lubbock and its agencies.

Audio, transcripts and data

Recordings come from a public scanner feed. Transcripts and summaries are machine-generated and may be wrong. Short quotes with a credit to IncidentTrack Lubbock are welcome; bulk copying, scraping or republishing of recordings, transcripts or incident data is not allowed without permission. Monthly figures on the data pages may be cited with credit.

Corrections and removal

Every incident has a Report a problem tool for wrong details and a Request incident removal form. A person reviews every request, usually within a day. Incidents involving a mental-health crisis are never published, and locations are kept to a block or an intersection.
